Friends - you'll never forget
Good, old, fat or feud
Friends - you'll ever cherish
Their names and odd games
Friends - it is not just hello and high
It is I am when ya laugh
It is not just a little try of life
He'll cry when ya cry..😇
And that's the magic that friends bid on you
That today you get screwed
Screwed because that idiot's missing
Missing is his frame
But just touch your eyes and thoughts alone
You'll see, he's there beside
He's there the funny face
Or the wise old monk of past
Or the one with a stupid look
Or the one who barks
Or the one who speaks a lot
And the one who admires
And the one who's always admonishing
And the one who inspires
Or the one who's bat we had
And hence allowed to bat first
Or the one with a book so good
Or the one always tired...
A rainbow they make of life you see
One day we all shall admire
Admire the lost days of childhood friends
Who didn't ask or aspire.
