Song of Little Drops

We grow with those little drops,

drops of hope and pain

drops of morning dew observed

drops of rain disdained

drops that trinkle on the lips we laugh

drops that in tears pain erase

In all those drops that are shallow 

Drop-by-drop we build a world

Drop-by-Drop it runs

And among all those drops that we try to save

Many drops we shun

Drops that trinkle while in eyes

And drops that twinkle in the same

And drops of little cherished lives

That sing the songs of glee and pain

With the drops that we dropped 

And the drops we gained

We walk along on this dropful lane. 

Drops of night, where tears roll

And the energetic drops of day

In our little lives that we try to hold

It is but these drops that we hold and pray...
