All lone on a lane so green,
Which sprouts from the deepest grounds
Clear and candid does it ring in him
Pure it seems and in it are his dreams
Dreams of life and eternal love
Dreams of growth and other stuff
Yet in his dreams he sees a world of rocks,
A life of steel
Dark and dirty are all his ponds,
they wither with time as the new sun dawns
The green mysteries - never he lived
They age and pass in the dark grim flames
In its ash he lived
And through its dreariness he drank
And in his eyes he was dry
And in his eyes he bled
And through his eyes he shred
And in his eyes, god he raved
And in there in the deeper seas,
He longed the sky, he longed the glee
And in his tears, he longed for thee
And lo, thus broke the trance
Through his sleep, he awoke to embark
And yet as he lived, he saw and beamed
And yet as he lived, he bowed and thanked
And as he lived, he lived to sing
The spring still gurgled in the songs of light
The airs near grass still danced in trance
And yet sang the clouds the glory of day...
What do you think we will dream some day?
He stood on the longing springs

Clear and candid does it ring in him
Pure it seems and in it are his dreams
Dreams of life and eternal love
Dreams of growth and other stuff
Yet in his dreams he sees a world of rocks,
A life of steel
Dark and dirty are all his ponds,
they wither with time as the new sun dawns
The green mysteries - never he lived
They age and pass in the dark grim flames
In its ash he lived
And in his eyes he was dry
And in his eyes he bled
And through his eyes he shred
And in his eyes, god he raved
And in there in the deeper seas,
He longed the sky, he longed the glee
And in his tears, he longed for thee
And lo, thus broke the trance
Through his sleep, he awoke to embark
And yet as he lived, he saw and beamed
And yet as he lived, he bowed and thanked
And as he lived, he lived to sing
The spring still gurgled in the songs of light
The airs near grass still danced in trance
And yet sang the clouds the glory of day...
What do you think we will dream some day?
