A secret

There is a secret I have never told
Across the skies when the stars float
In the nursery of heaven's hands
I felt there were men in thousands
Who atop lighthouses stand.

A black lighthouse maybe
Which guided through the seas above
And hence millions were needed
For fairies, trolls and little ents.

Far beyond the reefs there stands
The largest of them all
A beacon that shines like the torches of earth
And the man who lives there has a face big and tall.

There are other secrets like
How the moon accompanied me on walks
But let the dreams sleep in me
Maybe to awaken in another talk.

But those lighthouses still stand
If not on earthly cliffs
Then on dreamy heavenly sands...
