Just like a Comic

How beautiful it would be,
If the world be a comic?
A myriad of colours
That flyby
And even in a place
So static and stern
A little world is heard
Speaking bold and shy.

Perhaps a cartoon isn't
That bad an idea either.
Some serious howlings
Or maybe just a zither.
Maybe it's all about
A cat and a mouse
Or maybe it's the sum total
Of what life is all about.

And talking lions and funny bears
And evil witches living in stinky lairs.
With crows and dwarves
And fish in reefs
Some enigmatic words
While some just creep
In the end - all words meet
In understanding, they stand and bow to greet.

There shall be words
With Obvious Ends
Knocking the mind
In a mellow resonance.
And the heart shall
Even in its indifference and guilt
But shall yearn
For a little more of it.

There shall be magic
And there shall be fun
And friendships can last
Longer than one's life can run.
And as the climax draws close
The heart refuses to let go
But the eyes anxiously await the moment
Of the end of the show.
