Have you ever heard the birds chirping so loud,
That in that mute morning, you hear no sound?
Have you ever missed the trail of sleep,
Just to watch a sunrise on a new year's eve?
There we live in a world of shards
They scatter my thoughts just like wind acts on cards.
Scary it is a place men say -
The inner self is not a good place to stay.
Have you ever realised yourself crying hard,
That in the moist airs, your eyes stand dry?
Have you ever seen yourself laughing so hard
That in that moment of absolute energy, you feel a need to rest?
Sometimes it is good to yield to will,
A shattered mosaic of latent ills.
Sometimes it is good to just dance when the music is loud
The inner self is a rebellious kid
Have you ever tapped so hard on a song certain
That walking later seemed a little uncertain?
I bet you've laughed so hard at least once in a life
That you choked on the humour you found funny.
Listen O gentlemen and ladies - young and old alike,
Listen to the inner self more often than you know
For one fine day in the dreariness when you shall drown
Just play a song and remember the day well
Once a while you'll laugh I'm sure
Once a while you'll cry
And that day you'll feel you're blessed enough
Even though you'll say you're old.

Sometimes it is good to just dance when the music is loud
The inner self is a rebellious kid
Have you ever tapped so hard on a song certain
That walking later seemed a little uncertain?
I bet you've laughed so hard at least once in a life
