My Friend, the love guru

There’s one friend, a love guru,
We all have him sitting atop Mount Meru,
And we all know that at all times he has failed
But that only gives him confidence unfazed.

He knows most of the ones who enshrine
And in his eyes, he reads all minds (At least that is what he thinks)
You, the scapegoat of his experimentations
Can never know of the filiality of his intentions.

And on the days one of us would whine over love
He is the only one with a sensible line
“It’s not your fault to call someone to the heart’s cove,
You all shall face dumping in some near time…”

(On a lesser linguistic version, “sabka katega”)

Well, Well. Now, this isn't exactly a poem I intended to write on this blog.
We are locked here in India for the next 21 days. And we were already locked since last Saturday.
