Here comes the wind
Telling lore of lands far
Humming the tunes of some silent whims
Or dancing on some unseen guitar.
The nasty Westerlies come hot
Bringing forth some tales to the north.
The desert that lies dead on this land
And of the bedouins who find life in but sand.
The strong East winds come as a relief
But with torrents of strong belief.
The song of the seas that salt the shores
And of the sailors who in tides, ride aboard.
The winds that come from you I know
Are a candid bunch of human tries.
They sing a poem on love and life
And yet are confused in internal strifes.
The winds have all come to us
And to each, they sing me a song
And then take away our songs as well
And then amazed, are gone.
