 I dream of you in this shattering heart

each night when I sleep

You come like the mellow shadow, dear

You wear that dress, that you quite daily wear

I say I'm thankful for you to be.

I never wanted to be so crass

but rock is what I've often said

is what I'm supposed to be.

is the day I want you to leave

till that day, I know it's hard

Can you just, for me, be?

I feel it's easy, once you're here

for me to sing and love

to live and cherish the songs I've pinned

to live, to sing and to be.
